EDIT: I just realized maybe I should explain floaters for you young-uns who don’t have any yet. Basically as you get older the gelatinous goo inside your eyeballs can start clumping together, thus it may appear there is a fuzzy or see through object “floating” through your field of vision. Floaters can also come about because of trauma to the eye. For example, I gained most of my floaters in college when I got a viral infection that started attacking the retina in my left eye….I know it sounds horrible, but it was caught early and is no longer a detriment to my vision, though I always have to be cautious about flare-ups. Anyhow from that incident I have some dead cells floating around in my eye. It’s aggravating, but as long as you try your best to ignore them, your brain starts ignoring that information from your eye.
I can’t remember if I said this before, but it probably bears repeating, so I’ll tell you all again.
Migraine aura for most people will look like a series of zigzag lines or sparkles or fuzzy blobs. What’s in the sketchbook on the second panel is pretty typical. For me, if I am having aura, when I shut my eyes I will often see an undulating zigzag pattern. It’s pretty aggravating, especially if you just want to rest and get over the migraine. I also see lots of sparkles and glitter….less so much white blobs. Jellyfish aura are NOT typical, haha, but who knows maybe it could happen. XD
