 Summary & Info
For this story, I wanted to return to the shoujo basics, and focus on a simple tale of romance set in a quiet small town, where the biggest difficulty is finding the love of your life, even when the fates have decided it for you.In another world, not too unlike our own, when you come of age, a unique patch appears on your clothing. This patch is an essential key to finding who you are destined for, as each patch matches perfectly with another somewhere out there. Although your perfect mate may be predetermined, many still find themselves lost in a sea of patches, unable to find the right match for them. Enter the life of Mene, a young woman with an unusual patch living in a small town where the romantic prospects are next to nothing. Shall she ever find her patch mate, or does her destiny lie elsewhere? And what of the enigmatic Etoile who doesn't even have a patch at all?
Although currently this comic's content should be acceptable for general audiences, I am going to rate this comic OT, or for older teens. It does/will contain adult situations and exhibits the use of alcohol.
Update Schedule
I don't have a set update schedule because creating comics is not my full time work. It would be nice if it was, but I didn't get my teaching certification for nothing! This being said, my updates happen when I have the time, which can sometimes mean you will get a lot of updates or a few here and there. Now that you know this, I kindly request that you do not email me asking for updates or asking when they are going to happen. I thank everyone for their patience regarding this, because I actually get bothered very little about updates!
About the Haitus of 2009: Last year was hard for me, because I lost my most beloved pet, and then days before Thanksgiving my grandmother passed away. These things combined with other life troubles made me feel lackluster and I lost interest in drawing all together. Because of this I decided to indulge my fancies a bit and spent time playing games, working on my dollhouse and enjoying other hobbies. I'm not sure what compelled me to draw again, but I am feeling pretty good about it overall, so hopefully things will only continue to get better from now on.
