The end is near! XD

So, the end of this comic draws near (no pun intended). We have just three more weeks of updates now! It’s great to be able to finish a comic, but I also realize that upon it’s completion I will no longer have a current webcomic. Of course I will be working on Chosen for Filthy Figments, but I have no new ideas that I feel are ready to be pulled from the oven and put up for consumption yet. I tried to force an idea to come sooner than it should, but I realize now that was a mistake. Just like baking bread, you can’t force the bread to cook any faster, and turning up the heat will only result in something that’s burnt on the outside and still undone in the middle.

Anyhow when I do feel I have something to share with you again, I will definitely be announcing it here, in my tumblr, on twitter and everywhere else I can think of. If you want to keep track of my other works or my progress on a new webcomic you can feel free to follow my twitter, tumblr or DA account. To be honest I don’t really use Facebook anymore except to check in on my relatives from time to time….that place is just much too full of spam these days and urgh, just blargh. New Filthy Figments Comic Coming Soon (18+ only!!)

Originally I was going to announce my next webcomic next week on my vacation, but the plans have changed a little as now I will be doing another comic for Filthy Figments and delaying my next webcomic a little because I desperately need to save money for a new computer to be able to continue making comics! So with that said I’ll be focusing on paying work for the rest of the summer probably as my next comic “Chosen” will be in the ballpark of 70 pages. So, if you like my work and want to help support me and other great lady artists, you can hop on over to filthyfigments.com (provided you are 18 or older!!) and pick up a subscription for the month of June as that’s when Chosen will be starting. If you’ve never seen any of my adult work then you are also in for a treat as I have 3 finished comics on the site for you to read, those being: Scarlet Maple, Sonata and Make Love Not War.

So I’ve had some questions in the past about my adult comics and what one could expect out of Filthy Figments, and I thought I’d clear the air here a little. My adult comics and many of the other adult comics on Filthy Figments are about more than just sex. *Does the Jedi mind trick wave* this is not the pr0n you are accustomed to, lol…and I will tell you why. We write plot, we have stories and we have character development, oh my!! In a way you can think of it as being somewhat like reading a smutty romance novel, but in a comic format and without those lame-o eye-rolling references to moist flowers and throbbing manhoods.

With that said, my newest comic, Chosen, is going to be a little sci-fi story about an upper class woman who is part of the highest ranking governmental organization. She takes an interest in a man who is trapped in a powerful crime syndicate whom she meets while “slumming it” in the lower portions of the city. Can their relationship survive the divide of the classes? You’ll have to read to find out! ;) This series will be starting the first week of June!

Ending Date for the Comic!!

Ok, as I said on Monday with the update that we are getting close to the end of Wolves and Men, which is an exciting thing for me!! Currently I have the last few pages of Wolves and Men thumbnailed which means that I can now tell you a reasonable date on when you can expect the end of the comic. So, barring any unforeseen circumstances, like computer failure, illness and the like, you can expect this comic to finish up on July 13th, which also happens to be a Friday the 13th. XD Hahahaha….and I guess, yes, that also means that the final week of the comic will be a 3 page week!

Now that’s out of the way, I should also mention that I plan to “take a vacation” when my relatives come for a visit in the first week of June. I intend to do NO WORK while they are here, so that means there will be no updates that week. HOWEVER, I just may have a preview page ready for my next comic series that I can share with you. Anyhow I’ll be sure to post more information as we get closer to the date.

Just thought I’d make a post to let everyone know that I’ve edited page 41 to add in Phoebe’s glasses where they had once been missing. If you want to see the new page you may need to refresh. Anyhow it’s a very minor edit, but I thought I would mention it anyway. ;)
